Windspire Roof Mounting Systems using Vibration Reduction Tecnology
The most important factor to consider when installing wind turbines atop building is the rotational vibrations that occur. Windspire has the technology and designs to solve this very important issue.
When isolating structure-borne noise, it is essential that all conductive paths of vibration be blocked. Pading of multilayered construction gives a multitude of interfaces which offer a high acoustical mismatch of impedances, thus reducingthe transfer of acoustical energy or sound transmission. Therefore, vibrationpads, washers and bushings are required to completely break the metal-to-metal contact between the isolated unit and its support. All connections to the unit such as pipes, cables, ventilating ducts must be isolated as well with flexible connections and the like.
